The songs on the album have many speculating if the album is about his split with singer, Selena Gomez. The Weekend, who's real name is Abel [ UNKNOWN ] and Selena dated for ten months in 2017 before the pair split up in October of that year. One song on the album in particular titled Call Out My Name is really stirring the pot here, So in it, [ UNKNOWN ] sings I almost cut a piece of my self for your life. I don't know. I mean it sounds like a potential reference to the kidney transplant Celina received last summer. But while we sit here and speculate the fans are already sounding off on Twitter. Kimberly from Brooklyn actually thanks Selena Gomez for breaking The Weekend's heart. It's a little harsh. I guess she's just really feeling his album.
