What would you say has changed the most not just with Harman but in the industry itself, in automotive in the last year to eighteen months? You know it's fascinating because a lot has changed. And I see exponential change. THe next five years will bring even rapid change. I think the change was driven from datacom industry. The smart devices you and I carry And we have created our own hub in our handheld device. And we have started demanding that experience the car. But we all learned very quickly that these smart devices cannot run the car, because they are not secure. And a lot of applications will keep on coming, will not be so. Car industry is now getting very serious in last 18 months. To find secure cloud, secure way to update software firmware applications. And that has also expressed the cars are really designed Wrong for the future. The whole architecture was designed 50 years ago. Not much has changed frankly. So now whole electrification, EV or even combustion driven cars with their whole architecture has to be changed, which will use the latest technology of gigabytes Movement in the car. And the whole pipe switch will be brought in by Verizon, ATandT, Vodafone, or what have you. The terabytes of data will be exchanging back and forth. For that, you need massive overhaul. And that is all last 18 months. And that's another reason what you see quantum jumping in automotive. Intel jumping in automotive. More of Samsung jumping in automotive. When you see these giants of technology coming in, this industry is just about ready to really take off. Automotive industry. So you do you feel like they are just seeing what is possible with taking computing power and basically putting it out into the automotive world? Is it that That new industry potential that they're finally waking up to. And I guess if the answer is yes, then what took them so long to sort of figure that out? Absolutely, I first of all say, you're spot on. This is the vertical which will be several hundred. And I'm using intentionally because there's statistics from all over the place. But at least two to three hundred billion dollar a year new growth opportunity, well that's fantastic. Because people are running out. Well look at Apple, they're just tiptoeing constantly. Should we get into it? It's a hard industry to get into it. I know it after 10 years. I came from a nonautomotive industry. I thought it'd be easy. So it's a tough industry, but there's tremendous growth opportunity. And US believes that. And so will China. So they're jumping in. What took them this long? I don't think industry was ready. Because all this proliferation of smart devices with us, if you really see it this last three years we started to see I can do a hell of a lot more now with these devices. So when consumers started to see it Slowly get into the automotive need. First we thought, I guess we can only do it when I'm not in the car. But now I say, why am I not able to do all of that in the car? So that demand circulation's going into auto industry. Our industry's saying millennials would not buy car if I don't give them the experience they are so used to So that's really the race had just begun but that's why when people say, autonomous car, autonomous car, frankly, technology for the sake of technology is here but we are not ready for the big day. That will be at least five to ten years south with the 800 million non smart, if i may, cars which have no intelligence. human intelligence. And they have next eight to ten years of life on them.
