Rumor has it that Apple wants to reintroduce four inch iPhone. Robert, is this a savvy move? It's a terrible idea. Come on. Yeah, at the last product announcement Apple released the iPhone 6 which is a bigger and better phone in my opinion. And the iPhone 6 Plus, both big. I mean personally I use an iPhone 5 and every time I'm typing on it I have my thumbs in the air, and it's just mashing all these different buttons and keys, AutoCorrecting all over the place. What a touch life. It's terrible! Plus when I wake up in the morning to read the news on this tiny display, my eyes are straining and it's horrible How do you live? Why go back to that lifestyle? Well because it's a good idea from a business standpoint, okay. I mean look you kinda gave my point to me which is that the plus was success. Why? Because there was market demand for it. Apple wanted to, Enter Asia. Most of Asia was buying phones made by Asian manufacturers that were making larger devices. With good reason. With good reason for sure. But Apple wanted to get more market share, and so it made a larger phone to make that demand head on. Now, if Apple thinks there is a demand for a smaller I Phone, probably in the United States, where there was one at one point. Why wouldn't it want to meet that demand? Look, Apple's always prided itself on having a slim product line. You add more complexity into the mix, that also adds more cost. Time Cook, he is a supply chain guru, I can't understand why he thinks this is a good idea. Because a brand extension is a good idea. Because the iPhone is the most lucrative product that Apple makes, because that's where it gets most of its revenue. Because it ships more iPhones than any other product. I mean look, extending this brand is not a bad idea, there is a reason there is an eighth Fast and Furious film. It's because people want to grab onto what's already successful. This seems like a prime opportunity. Perhaps there are good business reasons, but from a personal perspective, I think the world is moving to mobile right now, people are more things than ever before on their smartphones I barely bust out my laptop anymore and I doubt I'm the only one.
