Hackers Take Twitter Down

If you had Internet trouble this morning, you weren't alone. Hackers disrupted service for Twitter and a number of other websites, thanks to a distributed denial of service. Attack against Dun Dun is a major domain name system and provides the infrastructure for many major Internet brands, including Twitter, Spotify, Reddit, CNN, Grubhub, Squarespace I, Heart Radio, the Verge and Urban Dictionary. DDOS attacks overwhelmed Internet servers with too much traffic and cause the website to go offline. The attacks don't disable your Internet and make it harder for your browser to locate the site you want to go to. No information has been provided about who was behind the hack.
