Grubhub is acquiring level up for $390 million level up as a mobile ordering and payments platform that allows restaurants to offer rewards and discounts to loyal customers. That's according to the VERGE, the company, which is based in Boston, as customers like Sweetgreen, Taco Bell and KFC founder and CEO of Grubhub Matt Maloney told TechCrunch that the acquisition will help them handle more deliveries as well as build a platform that goes beyond just delivery.
