Fox news anchor, Gretchen Carlson, is reportedly filing a sexual harassment lawsuit against network chairman and CEO, Roger Ailes. According to CNN's Bryan Stelter, who claims to have read the complaint, Carlson rebuffed Ailes' sexual demands and nine months later, ended her career. In the suit, the rap report Carlson alleges Ailes sabotaged her career because she refused his sexual advances and complained about severe and pervasive harassment. Carlson was terminated on the last day of her contract, June 23. Without addressing the suit, she shared a message with fans on social media, writing " As you may have heard, I'm no longer with Fox News. I value your support and friendship, especially now, so please stay in touch ." Carlson has most recently been anchoring a series called The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson after leaving Fox and friends. Fox News has not responded publicly to the matter.
