you had this conversation with Tim Cook at Apple about How do you keep your brand? You know how GoPro keeps his brand preeminent. Tell me a little bit about that conversation. Well, it was a brand is an interesting thing. Brands, Um, very, very strong Brands are powerful, and when they introduce new products and services, uh, if they have a great brand reputation and a strong following their customers, the global audience pays attention. So when Apple comes out with something new, or when GoPro comes out with something new, people pay attention. While this is probably gonna be pretty cool. But the brand gets a reputation for enabling certain things for serving certain problems. And just because you have a strong brand doesn't mean you can always do whatever you want, because the brand becomes known for certain things. So GoPro is very much known for enabling incredible content content I popping, engaging wow content is what GoPro's become famous for. In fact, most people learn about GoPro not because of anything we as a company do or marketing product. They learn about GoPro because of seeing somebody else's incredible footage that went viral. Most people say Oh, I learned about GoPro because of all the great great content I see being shared out there. And that's making it easy for GoPro to transition from being previously a hardware company into now a hardware Coombe, uh, entertainment media company that is enabled by the hardware. But then that media company goes on to reinforce the hardware business. And and the conversation with Apple with Tim was, um, you know, people always share incredible GoPro videos. My GoPro Hawaii Adventure, My Go Pro Day at the Park with My son, my GoPro. This my goal for that. And they put GoPro in the title in the tight or tax GoPro video and two thousands of last year. It was 6000 uploads a day titled GoPro that doesn't even include, uh, tagging, describing or even videos that aren't described. I heard Tell me if this is right. I heard that Google said there were basically 3.9 years of content on YouTube that was titled GoPro. GoPro uploaded just in 2014, and that's up about 40% from 2013, which was 2.8 years. And there's no there's not a lot of my here's my apple video of Here's my Sony. Yeah, no, absolutely no disrespect to Apple. Not the point of this conversation. But I asked him, Can you imagine people sharing their apple videos like my my epic Apple Ski Weekend? Right? Or When was the last time you saw somebody share another branded? You know, I'm not going to say any names because it's not polite, but, you know, company X Y Z video. You're you're only seeing people sure GoPro videos because that's what the brand GoPro is known for is enabling this great content. Another company that's known for making great mobile phones are a great home stereos. Whatever it decides we're gonna go and compete without with GoPro. It's a very difficult thing for them to do, because that's not what the brand is known for. And that is only what our brand is known for. So when you have to compete on our on our playing field, it's a little challenging for for for other companies. So it seems
