Google, Verizon apologize for reneging on Chromebook data plan deal

When Google debuted the Chromebook Pixel with a higher-price LTE model, many buyers were willing to pay extra because of a perk that offered two years of free data from Verizon. It appears one or both of the companies revoked the perk a year early.
