[ MUSIC ] A decade ago only a few auto makers had presence at CES generally every major auto maker including, Ford GM, Toyota, all have a presence here. And this year the theme was Connected Car and Artificial Intelligence. Let's take a look around. [ MUSIC ] Automakers are coming to realize now that people are connected to their smartphone And they want to turn their car into a smart phone on wheels. We heard that a lot at CES. So they're here to showcase the best technology inside the car. Another big trend at CES was electric cars. Before CES even gets started, we got a chance to see the concept car unveiled by Faraday Future, a mysterious electric car company that's about to build A one billion dollar plan in North Las Vegas. Other big auto makers including GM and Volkswagen showcased their electric vehicle plans. GM showed their Chevy Volt EV, which will go into Production later this year. And Volkswagen showed it's concept car. A microbus called Buddy. Looking ahead we saw a lot of concepts here and a lot of cool technology. But keep in mind, what really matters is how easy it is to use. Gesture controls, voice recognition. In other ways that we connect with our car and to the world beyond. [ MUSIC ] While you might not see a self- driving car in your neighborhood anytime soon, what you will see is an increasing acceleration of connected technologies in your car. [ MUSIC ]
