SEOUL, South Korea, September 27, 2026 (EZ Newswire) -- Global Affairs Lab, an international affairs research institute, has released two casual games, "Silicon Road Dash" and "Security Threat: Ransom Run," that turn issues related to U.S.-South Korea economic ties, industrial cooperation and the business environment into interactive experiences.

The games were developed as an investment by South Korean companies in the United States expands and bilateral industrial cooperation deepens. Global Affairs Lab said the goal is to make related issues more accessible to general audiences, and that the games visualize key industries and business environment factors rather than draw conclusions about specific policies.

'Silicon Road Dash'

"Silicon Road Dash" is a runner-style game set in the United States. Players move through a course featuring elements representing major industries and South Korean companies, such as SK hynix and Hanwha.

The game reflects growing cooperation in semiconductors, shipbuilding, the defense industry and advanced manufacturing, along with rising interest in supply chains and U.S. production.

'Security Threat: Ransom Run'

"Security Threat: Ransom Run" is a split-screen runner featuring Seoul and New York side by side. South Korean and U.S. scores appear at the top as characters on both sides run simultaneously.

Players avoid falling obstacles that represent, in simplified form, business environment factors such as taxes, costs, and regulations, reflecting growing attention to U.S. business conditions as South Korean investment expands.

"The bilateral economic relationship is expanding beyond trade into investment, manufacturing, supply chains, and the broader business environment," said Minjung Lee, a game developer at Global Affairs Lab. "These games are designed to help users engage with those issues more intuitively through brief gameplay."

"The goal is not to evaluate specific policies or present conclusions, but to raise awareness and understanding of key issues shaping U.S.-South Korea economic ties," Lee added.

Both games feature simple controls and can be played without prior knowledge of the issues. They are available at www.globaf.org/game.
