RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, February 20, 2026 (EZ Newswire) -- Alaamry Global Capital today published its 2025 Annual Shareholder Letter, detailing portfolio results, positioning decisions, and the firm’s owner-oriented investment framework.

In the letter, Founder and Portfolio Manager Khalid Saud Alaamry notes that 2025 unfolded amid persistent geopolitical and macro uncertainty, yet global equities produced strong gains — reinforcing the view that “markets often advance not in the absence of risk, but in spite of it.”

For the year, AGV Capital reported a 26.3% gross return (time-weighted), outperforming the S&P 500 (17.9%) and MSCI ACWI (22.9%). The letter attributes result to fundamental business performance rather than valuation expansion, emphasizing a focus on “buying high-quality companies at great valuations” and avoiding crowded, momentum-driven trades.

A central theme is the firm’s contrarian overweight to China. After allocating roughly the mid-80% range of the portfolio to Chinese equities in 2024, the letter highlights that MSCI China returned 31.4% in 2025 — its strongest year in nearly a decade — while the firm argues U.S. benchmarks became increasingly concentrated around the “Magnificent Seven.” The letter also compares a basket of major Chinese technology leaders (including Alibaba, BYD, Tencent, Baidu, PDD, and JD.com) returning roughly 30% versus about 22% for the Magnificent Seven group.

Looking through what the letter calls a “holding company” lens, AGV aggregates underlying portfolio fundamentals and reports approximately 30.1% revenue growth and 31.0% earnings growth (USD terms) in 2025. It also reports portfolio valuation levels that remain materially below major indices, alongside improved quality metrics such as ROE rising to 22.3% and ROCE to 20.2%.

The letter further describes modestly reduced China exposure (to 76.9%) and expanded geographic diversification with new positions in Denmark and Brazil, while estimating a total shareholder yield of about 4.8% from dividends and buybacks.
