Elon Musk bet his final $40 million on Tesla and SpaceX: "I had like zero money"

Today marks 23 years since Tesla was founded on July 1, 2003. Since then, it has become the largest manufacturer of electric vehicles in the U.S. In a 2022 interview with Tesla Owners Silicon Valley, cofounder and CEO Elon Musk shared that he bet his final $40 million on his companies, Tesla and SpaceX.
