New customers must open a new HSBC Premier checking account by June 30, 2026. Additionally, customers must add new assets to a Premier checking account, Premier Savings account, Premier Relationship Savings account, Managed Portfolio Account and/or Spectrum account in order to qualify. • Earn a $3,500 cash bonus: Add and maintain new assets of $500,000 to $999,999.99

How the HSBC Premier Checking account bonus compares

While there are plenty of checking account bonuses available in the market, there aren’t many that are as lucrative as what HSBC is offering. Even the $1,500 offered at the lower end of the spectrum would be near the top of our list of the best checking account bonuses.

In fact, the only checking bonus that immediately comes to mind that could top this one would be the HSBC Premier Checking itself, for customers who earned a bonus on that account in the first quarter of 2026. During that time, the bonus went up to $7,000 at the highest tier.

Here’s how the current HSBC offer compares to some other bonuses on the market.
