Once Elon Musk bought Twitter, the social network he acquired in October 2022 for $44 billion, he rolled out a major reorganization, often relying on executives from his other companies for the revamp. Steve Davis, a top Musk lieutenant who is president of the Boring Company and a former Tesla executive, led the transition team at Twitter that laid off thousands of employees. (Davis is said to have slept at the Twitter offices with his partner and newborn child.) Musk also called in execs from his other companies to help with the reorg, including his cousins James and Andrew Musk (James works at Tesla while Andrew is at Neuralink); Ross Nordeen, who spent more than three years at Tesla before moving over to X.ai in May; as well as Dhaval Shroff and Yoni Ramon of Tesla. Here’s who else holds a top perch at the company formerly known as Twitter.
