Totême: A lot of people learned on Zoom this year that a quick trick to spruce up your outfit from the neck up is just a simple neck scarf. But experienced travelers know that a neck scarf is both decorative and multi-functional—especially now in the age where face coverings are become normalized to prevent infections. Inspired by Italy’s coastal town San Remo, Totême makes elegant silk scarfs that you can wear around your neck, underneath a shirt, or as a headband. Suggested retail price: $220

On Running: A good pair of sneakers will get you a long way, even without running. There have been a number of new brands that have given the old guard like Nike and Adidas a run for their money in the last few years, and Switzerland’s On Running is among the top contenders. You will be hard pressed to find a more comfortable pair of running shoes—right from the get-go as they barely need any time or distance to break-in. The brand updated its Cloudstraus shoe, intended for everyone from new runners to experienced marathoners. The shoes feature double-layer cushioning for support running on the sidewalk or a treadmill as well as redefined inner sock construction for a more customized fit and next-level step-in comfort. SRP: $170 for both men and women.

Kule: One style that will never go out of fashion? Breton stripes. These are a sure bet every time. Kule makes plenty of long and short-sleeve variations on this style for both men and women. They are featherlight and 100% cotton. SRP: $98

AYR: Even when it gets hot out, it’s still good to have a light jacket around just in case—those airplane cabins get very cold after a few hours in the air, and sometimes a strong AC can be downright chilly. A black blazer is a flexible option, as it can dress up any outfit for business and formal events. SRP: $395
