World Series 2019
HOUSTON, TEXAS - OCTOBER 29: Trea Turner #7 of the Washington Nationals is called out on runner interference for colliding with Yuli Gurriel #10 of the Houston Astros during the seventh inning in Game Six of the 2019 World Series at Minute Maid Park on October 29, 2019 in Houston, Texas. It all comes down to this.

The Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros. Game 7. All or nothing. Whoever wins tonight’s game will be the 2019 World Series champion. Whoever loses will have a long winter to contemplate the loss.

The 2019 World Series wasn’t one that, on paper, at least, seemed like it would be dramatic. But it certainly has had its moments. The Nationals, who no one thought had a chance, have forced a tie. It’s the first time in 1,420 best-of-seven series across MLB, the NHL and the NBA that the road team has won the first six games. And Tuesday’s game had both a controversial interference call from the home plate umpire and saw Nat’s manager Dave Martinez ejected from the game (as his assistant coaches held him back and tried to get him to calm down for his own health.

Tonight, both teams will be feeling the stress. And that could make for some exciting baseball.   Max Scherzer will take the mount for the Nationals and Zack Greinke will lead things for the Astros. It’s winner take all. And it’s can’t miss TV.

What time does Game 7 between the Nationals and Astros start?

The game begins at 8:08 p.m. ET on Fox. It’s being played in Houston.

How can I watch the 2019 World Series for free—even if I don’t have cable?

The best way to watch any sort of network programming for free on a big screen is with a good HD antenna. This year, the World Series is being broadcast on Fox, meaning you’ve got a good chance of capturing the game over the air, which costs nothing beyond the equipment prices. To ensure you’re getting the most reliable signal, you’ll want to test the antenna in multiple locations in your home.

Can I stream the World Series live online if I don’t have a cable subscription?

You’ve got lots of online choices if you won’t be near a TV set before the first pitch. First, if you do have a cable subscription, the game is being streamed live on the Fox Sports Go app. (You can also try logging into Fox.com or use the Fox Now app.)

If you’re a cord cutter and don’t have a cable or satellite subscription, there are several another methods that will let you watch the game. Here are a few suggestions.

Locast.org:

This free service lets you watch local broadcast channels with no monthly fees or contracts. The hiccup is: It’s only available in certain parts of the country.

PlayStation Vue:

The free trial is 5 days. Subscription packages start at $50 per month.

Hulu with Live TV:

You can try the service free for a week. Once that’s up, you’ll pay $45 per month.

YouTube TV:

After a seven day trial, you can expect monthly charges of $50.

Fubo TV:

This sports-focused cord cutting service carries Fox in most markets. There’s a seven-day free trial, followed by monthly charges of $55.

Does Major League Baseball offer any viewing options to watch the World Series?

In a sense. MLB.TV offers every post season game, including archived broadcasts of the playoffs, so you can relive the Astros’ dramatic clenching of the pennant as often as you’d like.

There’s no free trial, but for $24.99, you can watch (or listen to) this year’s World Series games. And, as a bonus, the league is also throwing in all of the 2020 Spring Training games for free. If you’d like to subscribe to the full regular season, that will run you $115.99 (or $24.99 per month).
