Gathering speed, the Star Wars hype train is. The Last Jedi may only be hitting cinemas on December 15, but Disney’s Lucasfilm will stoke up anticipation on Monday with a new trailer and the opening of early ticket presales.

The new promo will be shown at halftime in the game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears—in an Inception-level marketing move, Good Morning America ran a brief trailer of the trailer on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Lucasfilm also announced a series of opening night events to take place on December 14: a fan event, a double-feature of The Last Jedi and its predecessor, The Force Awakens, and—for the truly dedicated—a marathon showing of all eight Star Wars films.

Last week at New York Comic Con, toy firm Hasbro started winding up its Star Wars promotional machine again with the unveiling of new The Last Jedi figurines representing characters such as Rey and Captain Phasma, as well as older characters such as Lando Calrissian.

Sphero has already announced a robot to represent the new BB-9E character and, sometime this month, philatelists can also look forward to the British Royal Mail’s release of special Star Wars stamps.
