Pornhub Offers to Clear Boston Roads of Storm Stella Snow

Capitalizing on the hype around winter storm Stella, adult entertainment site Pornhub is offering free snow removal to help people in Boston (a.k.a. “the Hub”) and New Jersey dig out from the blizzard, according to Boston Magazine, which first reported the news.

Pornhub bills itself as one of the world’s most “prolific adult websites,” with more than 10 million registered users. It claims to average 92 billion video views a year, or about 12.5 porn videos per person on earth.

Requests for snowplow service can be made via email But word to the wise, as the DeathandTaxes news site, noted: “Do not, I repeat, DO NOT just Google ‘pornhub snowplow.'” If you do, you’ll be sorry. (Or maybe not.)

The offer is good for public streets and roads only, not private driveways. And it’s unclear if the Boston Department of Public Works, which is responsible for clearing roadways, would take advantage of the offer. (Probably not.)

Pornhub vice president Corey Price told the magazine: “The Pornhub team understands that by this time of year, most cities have run up their budget in snow removal and we thought we’d lend a hand in getting our fans plowed.”

The news surfaced Monday as winter storm Stella moved north and was expected to shut down major coastal cities. As of Tuesday morning, forecasts were walked back a bit in Boston and New York as the storm tracked further west than anticipated. Boston is now expecting up to 10 inches of snow—down from the 12 or more inches predicted earlier.
