See How The East Coast Is Taking On Winter Storm Stella

March 14, 2017, 5:18 PM UTC

A Nor’easter is well under way, Winter Storm Stella has hit the east coast in full force. A state of emergency has been declared in several states, predicting up to two feet of snow.

Although New York City doesn’t seem to have been hit as badly with only four inches of snow so far, more snow is predicted to affect suburban areas and farther up north.

From Washington D.C. all the way Maine, snow, sleet and high winds have caused schools to close and flights to be delayed or cancelled until further notice. Over 4,000 flights had already been canceled in anticipation of the snowstorm. With warm bouts of weather sprinkled over the past month we thought spring was just around the corner.

See photos above of how people have been affected by this intense blizzard.
