Spring Forward: Change Your Clocks for Daylight Saving Time

Parts of the Eastern Seaboard are currently undergoing yet another winter storm, but one sign of spring is almost here.

Time to spring forward and set your clocks ahead one hour as Daylight Saving Time comes back on Sunday, March 12. (Yes, the correct terminology is “saving”—not “savings.”)

Many smartphones and other Internet-connected devices will automatically change the time for you.

But if you need to do it manually, the time officially advances one hour at 2:00 a.m. local time.
