A Reddit user going by the name Aerix says she got a pretty nice surprise over the weekend: A gigantic box sent overnight to her house, with her Reddit Secret Santa gifts.
Aerix, who wrote about her experience on the Reddit Gifts site, was “blown away” by the multi-part gift pack which included a Microsoft Xbox One Minecraft edition game console and a Nintendo Entertainment System Classic Edition. Also: Mittens for both herself and her dog, as well as a personal note with a photo of Gates, co-founder of Microsoft (MSFT) and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, in a Santa hat.
Reddit is an online bulletin board and content aggregator with a huge following among techies. Its Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions, which have featured Gates several times, are particularly popular.

Gates has participated in the eight-year-old Reddit Secret Santa program since 2013, according to Geekwire, which was first to report on the news over the weekend. Other celebrities who have participated in the gift exchange include actors Alyssa Milano, and Verne Troyer, aka “Mini Me” in the Austin Powers movies.

Fortune reached out to Microsoft to confirm Gates’ participation, but Aerix’s post seems to leave little doubt.
One question: Isn’t a Secret Santa supposed to remain secret?
