Uber is helping Chicago Cubs fans celebrate their team’s historic World Series victory by delivering championship gear to then in a matter of minutes.
The arrangement is the result of a partnership between Uber and sport merchandise seller Fanatics. Cubs fans in Chicago can open their Uber app, select the CHAMPS icon and have gear in minutes. The companies previously partnered to sell Rams gear ahead of the NFL franchise’s first game in its new Los Angeles home.
The Chicago Cubs defeated the Cleveland Indians to win the World Series in a game that lasted until the early hours of the morning Thursday.
