Pizza Hut wants to give one sports fan an opportunity of a lifetime.
The pizza chain announced earlier this week that it would start accepting applications for the new “Pizza Hut All-American” position it created after becoming the “official pizza partner of the NCAA.”
The winner will get $50,000 to travel and document via social media as many Division I NCAA championship games as possible during the 2016-17 season, according to a press release.
“This lucky individual will travel the country bringing the pizza and the energy to pizza loving sports fans all over this great nation,” the company wrote in the press release.
Pizza hut is looking for “the ultimate college sports fan” who has a passion and knowledge of NCAA sports, is social media savvy, comfortable on camera, and can work under tight deadlines, among other things.
“This is one of those rare once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to experience something that no one has done before,” David Daniels, vice president of media and advertising at Pizza Hut, told CNBC.
Sports fanatics have until Nov. 6 to apply.
