In a recent interview with Fox & Friends, Eric Trump said his sister Ivanka would make a great veep on their father’s ticket. But his reasoning is a little shaky.
The younger Mr. Trump was shown a clip of Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker identifying Ivanka as the “best running mate” Trump could choose. “I don’t know that I’ve met a more composed, brilliant, beautiful in every way person,” Corker told reporters earlier this week.
“I agree, she’s got the beautiful looks,” Eric Trump responded to the clip. “She’s got…she’s smart,” he added. “She’s smart, smart, smart, she’s certainly got my vote.” He also confirmed that Ivanka will just make the age limit, as she turns 35 on October 30, days before the election.
Eric couldn’t narrow down the pool of candidates for the veep slot. “He’s getting calls every five minutes. From real people, the best people… Believe me, he has a lot of options,” Eric said, adding that his father will pick someone “who will be by his side, who will be incredibly loyal and who will do a great job for the American people.”
Hopefully, the eventual pick will have “the beautiful looks” and be smart (smart, smart).
