Love Game of Thrones but hate paying a massive cable bill? HBO has some good news for you.
The premium cable network is offering a free 48-hour trial this weekend, according to The Wrap. The promo comes at perfect time for fans of the blockbuster fantasy series—reportedly the most torrented show in the world—which has its season 6 premiere this Sunday.
Not so into dragons and direwolves? This weekend is also the premiere of Beyonce’s mysterious”Lemonade” special, which airs Saturday at 9 p.m. ET. What’s more Game of Thrones is just the jewel in HBO’s Sunday night crown: The network will also run season premieres of Silicon Valley and Veep. Other shows on offer: a new episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and a re-airing of Confirmation, an HBO original movie about the Clarence Thomas hearings, which stars Kerry Washington as Anita Hill.
The freebie is an attempt to lure new subscribers to the network and to promote its over-the-top service, HBO Now.
