Who wouldn’t want a massage on the job? Even better, what if your employer doled them out to help soothe backaches after hunching over a desk for hours each day—for free or at a subsidized discount.

If you’ve ever experienced back pain while working, you’re not alone. In fact, the American Chiropractic Association estimates that over 31 million Americans are experiencing lower back pain. And a good massage may be the solution, especially if a standing desk isn’t an option. A study written up by NPR suggests that massages help relieve back pain and may even prevent symptoms from recurring for up to six months.

Indeed, there are companies out there that offer employees massages as part of their on-site perks. And it’s no wonder these businesses are part of Fortune’s100 Best Companies to Work For this year. It’s likely that these employers are even saving their workers money by offering the perk. The American Chiropractic Association says that people in the U.S. spend as much as $50 billion each year on back pain-related treatments.
