Heinz would like Super Bowl watchers to think beyond ketchup.
In a 30-second ad that will air during the third quarter of the Super Bowl, Heinz will introduce viewers to the whole family of the brand’s condiments via a stampede of weiner dogs.
In the ad, the weiner dogs, which are all outfitted in hot dog costumers, sprint toward a family dressed in Heinz condiment outfits. “The stampede was a highly visual way for us to remind people of the irresistible taste of Heinz,” Michelle St. Jacques, the Kraft Heinz Company’s VP of marketing for condiments and sauces, said in a press release.
The ad, which introduces the campaign’s tagline “Meet the Ketchups,” includes Heinz organic ketchup, yellow mustard, sriracha, and bbq sauce.
