Tuesday’s Republican Debate Was Fox Business’ Most Watched Program Ever

November 11, 2015, 7:08 PM UTC

Tuesday night saw the fourth debate for the Republican presidential hopefuls, and like the previous three, it produced boffo ratings.

In fact, at 13.5 million viewers, the debate was the most watched program in the history of Fox Business, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Fox Business is just eight years old.

These preliminary ratings would give Tuesday’s debate almost the same viewership as the CNBC Debate last month. It’s still well behind the 24 million viewers of the first debate on Fox News, or the 23 million of the second debate on CNN. Although Donald Trump is still good for some laughs, it seems America’s appetite for debate action may be waning, at least a bit.

Tuesday’s debate was also streamed by 1.4 million people, the report said.

Final viewership totals will be published later Wednesday.
