If you love Taco Bell (YUM) and baseball, you’re in luck, because a play in the latter has won you some free food at the former.
During last night’s World Series game between the New York Mets and the Kansas City Royals, Lorenzo Cain of The Royals stole second base. As part of a promotion with Taco Bell, this means that next week, on Thursday, Nov. 5, diners nationwide can get a free Taco Bell AM Crunchwrap between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m, according to the company.
In fact, as part of its promotion, Taco Bell says if a base is stolen in either the first of second games of the World Series, you can claim a Crunchwrap on Nov. 5. If a player steals a base in Games 3 through 7, you can grab your free Crunchwrap on Nov. 10.
The AM Crunchwrap is a taco casing that contains eggs, meat, cheese, a hashbrown, and a spicy sauce. Its part of Taco Bell’s breakfast lineup introduced in the past few years and aimed at taking on McDonald’s (MCD), which started serving breakfast any time of the day nationwide earlier this month.
No word on if Cain is planning on getting a Crunchwrap himself.
