Jeff Wilson and Jake Hodgman have joined tech-focused private equity firm Vista Equity Partners, Fortune has learned.
Wilson had spent the past 12 years with TPG Capital, where he was involved with deals for such companies as Box, Eze Software Group, Rackley Solutions and Vertafore.
Hodgman previously was a principal with private equity firm HGGC, where he had worked since its inception in 2007. His board seats had included Hollander, AutoAlert, Dealer-FX and Innovative Interfaces.
Both investors are based in the Bay Area. Vista currently is investing out of a $5.8 billion fund closed last year. A firm spokesman confirmed that both Wilson and Hodgman will join Vista’s investment team.
