Following a successful debut at this year’s Telluride Film Festival, Universal has released a new trailer for Steve Jobs, Danny Boyle’s forthcoming film about the late Apple (AAPL) co-founder.
“What if the computer was a beautiful object, something you want to look at and have in your home? And what if, instead of being in the right hands, it was in everyone’s hands?” asks Jobs, played by Michael Fassbender, in the new trailer. Set across three product launches, the film checks in on Jobs throughout his career—culminating in the unveiling of the iMac in 1998. Fassbender, Seth Rogen, Kate Winslet, and Jeff Daniels lead the cast, with Aaron Sorkin handling screenplay duties.
Set to next screen at the New York Film Festival, the trailer for Steve Jobs is below. The film arrives in theaters on Oct. 9.
