Top Gear trio Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May have signed a contract to host a new car show on Amazon Prime five months after BBC refused to renew Clarkson’s contract following an altercation between the Top Gear host and a producer on the show.
The deal with Amazon’s (AMZN) on-demand TV service ends speculation about where the trio would land and commits the hosts to three seasons of the show. Filming on the first season of the show, which is yet to be named, is expected to start this fall. The show will be produced by the trio’s long time executive producer Andy Wilman.
BBC dropped Clarkson in March after the auto journalist allegedly attempted to punch Top Gear producer Oisin Tymon after filming in a Yorkshire hotel and learning he wouldn’t be served a hot steak meal. The other two hosts departed the show following Clarkson’s dismissal.

In a brief statement announcing the deal, Jeremy Clarkson said “I feel like I’ve climbed out of a bi-plane and into a spaceship.” The show will arrive on Amazon Prime in 2016.
