Tax day can be the worst. On the bright side, there are a few companies giving out freebies to make the day a bit easier.

April 15-pegged deals, Bloomberg notes, range from free coffee at participating Whole Foods, free shredding at Staples and a free sandwich at Schlotzsky’s.

A few others from Bloomberg:

  • Free meal: Boston Market is offering a buy one, get one free deal on April 15 at its 450 restaurants nationwide. Buy one individual meal (a main, two classic sides, and cornbread) for $10.99 and get the next one free. No coupon needed.
  • Free burger: If you’re willing to sing karaoke-style at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, you can get a free 8-ounce Angus beef burger. The “Sing for Your Supper” promotion starts at 5 p.m. on Tax Day.
  • Half-price booze: At ESquared Hospitality restaurants, which include BLT Prime and BLT Steak, all cocktails, beer, wines by the glass and bottles of wine are 50 percent off on April 15 to “help take the stress out of Tax Day.”

For all of the details on what freebies are available this tax day, check out Bloomberg. Yahoo Finance also has a few spotlighted, while Forbes points out that you should make sure the deals aren’t taxed themselves.

Correction: An earlier version of this story implied all Whole Foods stores would be giving out free coffee. It is only at participating locations.
