CVC Capital Partners has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Skrill Group, a London-based provider of online payment solutions for consumers and businesses, from Investcorp for €600 million. Investcorp invested a total of $88 million into Skrill Group, including an original investment in late 2007. Ares Management has expressed interest in acquiring upscale retailer Neiman Marcus, according to Bloomberg. Neiman Marcus currently is in registration for an IPO, but its owners – led by TPG Capital and Warburg Pincus – are known to be running a parallel M&A process.
Ares Management and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan have agreed to acquire CPG International Inc. from AEA Investors for approximately $1.5 billion (including the assumption of around $500 million in debt), according to the WSJ.
