Centerplate Inc., a Stamford, Conn.-based provider of foodservice solutions to sports and entertainment venues, has acquired The Lindley Group, operator of hospitality services at several UK tourist destinations and sporting venues. Hilco has agreed to acquire bankrupt UK music and entertainment retailer HMV, at a reported value of around £50 million. Hilco already owned HMV Canada, and now will acquire 141 additional stores – including 25 that had been marked for closure by HMV’s administrator. www.hmv.com
