Each Fortune conference — from Brainstorm Green, Brainstorm Tech, the Most Powerful Women Summit, to the Global Forum — yields fascinating conversations with the best and brightest minds in business.

Fortune wants to make it even easier for you to eavesdrop. The Fortune Brainstorm podcast is a weekly show that features recorded conversations from Fortune’s live events.

Dude, you’re getting a Dell.

Dell (DELL) Inc. CEO Michael Dell and private equity firm Silver Lake Partners have collaborated on a proposal to take the PC giant private. The connection that hatched this $24.4 billion deal was made at the magazine’s very own Brainstorm Tech conference last July. Term Sheet’s Dan Primack, who has been tirelessly covering the buyout for Fortune, is “99.9% certain” of this. We like those odds.

With an introduction by Primack, this week’s episode replays the Brainstorm Tech interview with Michael Dell, where the founder-CEO lays out his vision for the future of Dell Inc.

(Please forgive the poor audio at the beginning. It’s a recording of a phone conversation and time was of the essence.)
