CVC Capital Partners may lead a €1.8 billion equity infusion into listed Dutch insurance and banking group SNS Reaal, according to a local newspaper report. A group of three Dutch banks also would contribute an additional €400 million in subordinated loans. www.snsreaal.nl

Vivendi SA is expected to receive a private equity offer for its GVT phone unit in Brazil, according to Bloomberg. The consortium would include Apax Partners, KKR and Gavea Investimentos, with Grupo BTG Pactual also considering participation. It would offer upwards of €5 billion, compared to Vivendi’s €8 billion asking price. DirectTV also is expected to bid, likely with a higher offer. www.vivendi.com
