Apollo Global Management has agreed to acquire Belgian chemicals company Taminco from CVC Capital Partners for around €1.1 billion. www.taminco.com

Bravia Capital and HNA Group Co. Ltd. have acquired GE SeaCo., the world’s fifth largest marine container leasing company, from GE Capital and SeaCo Ltd. The deal is valued at around $2.5 billion.www.braviacapital.com

CVC Capital Partners and Nordic Capital have agreed to acquire candy-maker Cloetta, and merge it with existing portfolio company LEAF.

First Reserve Corp. has agreed to acquire a portfolio of U.S. contracted natural gas fired power generation plants totaling 1,068 MW from Arclight Capital. No financial terms were disclosed.
