BC Partners has agreed to acquire €155 million in PIK financing for portfolio company Com Hem from banks that helped underwrite BC Partners’ recent acquisition of the Swedish cable company from The Carlyle Group and Providence Equity Partners. Reuters was first to report news of the debt purchase.
Cinven has completed its £275 million acquisition of the Guardian Life insurance unit of Aegon NV. As part of the deal, Aegon Asset Management entered into a long-term agreement to continue managing the £7.4 billion of Guardian Life assets. www.cinven.com
