Blue Jeans Network, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based developer of cloud-based multi-party video conferencing services, said that it has raised $23.5 million in VC funding from Accel Partners, New Enterprise Associates, and Norwest Venture Partners. Benchmark Capital and Yahoo Inc. have partnered to form Hortonworks, a company designed to further the development of open-source Apache Hadoop technology. No financial terms of the investment were disclosed.
