The next version of Android music player has ties to the Cloud.

Notice the streaming music options that are tied in with Google’s upcoming Cloud music locker. First demoed at Google I/O in May, Google has been quiet on when this product will see the light of day. Perhaps we’ll hear something at CES next week when Honeycomb products like Motorola’s (MOT) Xoom tablet are announced.
A better media player will be critical to the success of Android PMP (personal media player) devices.
Apple (AAPL) is also rumored to be building a Cloud music storage locker system for its iTunes ecosystem.
