Verizon and Sprint marketing departments go head to head in advertising their new Android devices.

Since Sprint’s device is coming out tomorrow, they are up first.  Hopefully, Halo got a payout on this one:

That seems very Droid-like.  So what does the ‘maker of the Droid’ have to say?

Interestingly, Verizon’s Samsung Fascinate, though it is easily a Droid-class phone, won’t get the Droid branding.  Its promo commercial is also less masculine and more, dare I say, Apple (AAPL)-like?

Verizon’s Fascinate goes on sale on September 9th but BestBuy is already taking pre-orders.  Samsung announced yesterday that it had already reached a million Samsung Galaxy S phones in the U.S. after only a month and a half of sales on AT&T (T) and T-Mobile.  Those numbers should at least double with Sprint (S) and Verizon(S) carrying Galaxy Smartphones.
