If a snapped circular is to be believed, Best Buy Mobile will soon be carrying a white version of Sprint’s popular EVO starting July 11th.

PhoneArena.com took a picture of a purported Best Buy circular (right, full sized, below) which seems to indicate that Sprint’s EVO 4G will be coming in White.  The white EVO is expected to be a Best Buy Mobile exclusive until August, and orders are supposed to begin today.

Pricing is expected to be the same, $199 with a two-year Sprint 4G plan.

With Apple’s quick sellouts and limited options, will prospective iPhone 4 buyers stray?

Many iPhone 4 buyers were dismayed when Apple (AAPL) inexplicably didn’t launch the white iPhone 4 alongside the black version last week. Right now, the earliest you can expect to get a black iPhone is July 14th and the status of white  iPhones is uncertain.  Also, if you are Canadian, Apple will only state that iPhones are coming ‘soon’.

The Sprint EVO 4G is a HTC-built Android 2.1 smartphone that operates on Sprint’s 4G WiMAX and 3G network.  It also has a huge 4.3 inch display, a speedy 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and a front side camera. Its backside camera can take 8 megapixel stills and record 720P video, which it can then broadcast via HDMI on a HD display.  It has been selling briskly, and Sprint is having issues keeping up with demand.

The major downside to the EVO is its short battery life, which takes effort to manage effectively.
