Before, the casing was built with some plastic and came in white as well as black; now, it’s all aluminum and stainless steel. By calling this design “classic,” Apple seems to be drawing attention away from it; notably, people seem to be buying iPods more for the small size and the interface than for the storage these days. That could mean a less popular future for the old standard. |
