A new survey suggests that demand for Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone is not flagging as some fear. Macworld UK reports that in a ChangeWave survey last month, 16 percent of respondents who planned to buy a phone in the next six months had their hearts set on the iPhone.
“Although iPhone sales are still in their nascent stages, the effects on phone manufacturers are already beginning to take shape– and no company is bearing the brunt of this more than Motorola (MOT),” Macworld quotes the report as saying. [Full Macworld report here.]
The consumer mobile phone survey was conducted in July, among 3,003 members of the ChangeWave Alliance.
