I’m hearing that music legend Quincy Jones will be announcing some sort of digital music project tomorrow (July 31). It sounds small in scope, and tied to a licensing deal he did recently. At the Licensing 2007 International expo last month, his upcoming efforts were described, in part:
Quincy Jones in partnership with The Robert Thorne Company has teamed with Brand Central to create and manage an elite consumer products program targeted to a sophisticated and discerning audience with an affinity for Quincy’s style, class and taste. … His lifestyle brand includes audio and consumer electronics, publishing, apparel, accessories, grooming and home.
