I used to work for a now bankrupt airline in Philadelphia. We were having trouble getting a cargo door to stay closed for a flight that was already running late. Our supervisor came over and asked what the problem was. We explained the issue and suggested calling a mechanic. His response, “We are already running late, just tape it shut.” Needless to say, we overruled him and called a mechanic . . .
