50 Bulls**t Jobs: University Residence Hall Director

April 26, 2007, 8:41 PM UTC

Just a few ways to be profitably and pleasantly (if uselessly) employed, from Stanley Bing’s book, “100 Bulls**t Jobs and How to Get Them” (Harper Collins).

A reader from Oklahoma writes:

$$ – not bad considering that in addition to 25K per year you also get health insurance, a free furnished apartment or house with utilities, cable, internet and cell phone included, free or reduced tuition, free meal plan.

Upside? see free stuff listed above and you never have to leave college!

Downside? you can never explain to your aunt that you have ALREADY graduated from grad school and you have to clean up vomit and break-up hallway fights at 4:00am

Where do you go from there?  You become the director of Residential Life and boss around the other Residence Hall Directors

Readers, what do you think? Is this a bulls**t job?
