Just a few ways to be profitably and pleasantly (if uselessly) employed, from Stanley Bing’s book, “100 Bulls**t Jobs and How to Get Them” (Harper Collins).

A reader from Dallas writes:

Salary: Easily close to 6 figures
Benefits: Good health plan + stock options + good 401Ks.

Fixed working hours, no travel, maturing tech industry provides job stability. Job involves managing smart techies and making them address customer concerns whenever they escalate (not report!) a problem. People management, smooth talking, and Microsoft powerpoint/excel skills are good enough to keep you going for years. You are NOT required to solve technical problems. Access to internet and a competent technical team gives you plenty of free time which you can utilize for financial investing or for your retraining needs!

Readers, what do you think? Is this a bulls**t job?
