In an eagle-drone cage fight, always go with the eagle.
That’s what is to be learned from this YouTube clip captured by Melbourne Aerial Video. The wedge-tailed eagle, a massive Australian bird of prey, took out a video drone as it flew by, sending the drone tailspinning to the ground. The drone required some work before it could fly again.
The bird, on the other hand, was unharmed. As Melbourne Aerial Video explained, she “used her talons to ‘punch’ the drone out of the sky.”
